what is kodak black day?

On June 11, 2021 during a charity basketball game, popular rapper Kodak Black, received a proclamation from former Broward County Mayor Dale Holeness for his philanthropic efforts in Broward County.

During the presentation Mayor Holeness spoke about how Kodak Black paid his debt to society and now uses his fame for good. He also highlighted Kodak's good works including providing financial assistance to the families of fallen officers, donating $100,000 to Nova Southeastern University's library, financially contributing towards Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School senior Meadow Pollack and the 16 other students that lost their lives during the school massacre.

Kodak Black Day was created to celebrate Kodak Black and all that he has and continues to do for the community.

This year, on November 11, 2023, Kodak Black will be receiving his second proclamation for his charitable works in the Palm Beach County community from Senator Bobby Powell.

We are excited to host this free ceremony during Florida Atlantic University's football tailgate celebration.
